Vinyl plank and laminate flooring are simplest in terms of care and maintenance. They require a standard cleaning procedure of sweeping and heavy duty cleaning with approved products, which may be the most appealing to busy individuals. Solid and engineered hardwood on the other hand, depending on the type of top coat and finishing, may require a fresh re-coat every few years to keep its luster and wear resistance.
